Building the next generation of founders.
Forge Africa Ventures is a platform for student founders and recent graduates building ambitious companies. We connect emerging entrepreneurs with the knowledge, people, resources and opportunities they need to turn promising ideas into real businesses.
A new generation is coming of age in a continent full of consequential problems.
Across Africa, young people are coming of age amid profound technological, economic and social change. They are close to problems that remain poorly served—and to opportunities that established markets and institutions often overlook.
Yet the ability to build a company is shaped by more than talent. Access to experienced operators, mentors, customers, knowledge, credibility and capital can determine which ideas get the chance to grow. Those relationships are not distributed equally.
Talent is distributed. Access is not. That is the problem Forge exists to address.
Forge connects young founders to the people, resources and opportunities that help them move from potential to company-building. We are interested in what this generation can create when access is no longer the thing that holds them back.

Built around a simple conviction: potential should not depend on who you already know.
How do you find the people who can help you build?
How do you earn credibility before anyone knows your name?
How do you turn an early idea into a real company?
How do you keep building when the right infrastructure is missing?
Forge Africa Ventures begins with a question: what kinds of companies emerge when exceptional young founders have access to the networks, knowledge, resources and opportunities that have historically been out of reach?
Our conviction is that talent exists far beyond the circles where capital and opportunity already circulate. A founder's university, geography, family resources or professional connections should not determine whether they can reach the people who help companies grow. Forge exists to change the conditions around young founders.
We connect founders to knowledge, relationships and opportunities—and help build a stronger understanding of the companies that emerge from African realities. The ambition is not simply to prepare a few companies for investment. It is to expand who gets to build, and what becomes possible when they do.
The work ahead
The next great African companies are already being built.
Forge brings ambitious young founders into a network where they can learn, build relationships, and access opportunities. You don't need to have everything figured out to start.
